Chase Modernist silver plated metal candlestick

This very stylish silver plated metal candlestick was made by the American company Chase in the 1930s. It comprises a "U" shaped tube, one end of which is longer than the other, that sits on a raised round base with incised decoration. Each tube terminates in a removable bobeche that is stamped with the Chase trademark of a rearing centaur with a bow and arrow.
